Women’s Audio Mission
CHANGING THE FACE OF SOUND
Changing the face of sound by providing hands-on training, work experience, career counseling, and job placement to over 2,000 women/girls/gender-expansive individuals every year in creative technology for music, radio, film, television, and the internet.
Women's Audio Mission is a San Francisco-based recording studio and nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of women and gender-expansive people in music/audio production and creative technology, fields in which they are critically underrepresented. WAM uses music and media arts training, mentorship, and conferences to serve over 2,000 women, girls, and gender-expansive people annually in order to inspire them to amplify their voices and become the innovators of tomorrow.
WAM’s award-winning curriculum weaves art and music with science, technology, and computer programming and works to close the critical gender gap in creative technology careers. Additionally, our studios are the only professional recording studios in the world specifically built and run entirely by women and gender-expansive staff.

Womxn Of Wonder
AMPLIFY YOUR VOICE.
Womxn of Wonder (WOW) in the USA welcomes female-identifying scholars and their accomplices from around the world to engage with pressing theories driving women's rights and activist leadership. Enabling attendees with tools they need to translate critical knowledge and feeling into practice, "Lifeshops" address and inspire projects to fight gender-based and intersectional injustice. Recognizing that the deep complexities of intersectional oppression need to be better understood to be undone, high school senior Annelise established WOW with generous support from Youth Activism Project, Girls Learn International, and Purposeful to mobilize an extending sisterhood among youth justice enthusiasts who will be the future of sustainability.
