Black Women on Boards

WE ACCELERATE BLACK FEMALE LEADERS INTO BOARD SEATS.

Black Women on Boards (BWOB) is an organization that aims to remove the invisible obstacles that Black female executives face when pursuing board seats. We offer sponsorship, coaching, and support to prepare, place, and propel members into the boardroom.

Our members -- 200+ globally -- are executive women who have successfully navigated the contours of serving on the boards of public companies as well as those who are fully vetted as top talent and ready to do so. Our members typically report directly to the CEO of their public or private company, or are a skip level from that.

Block Party

BYE-BYE, TWITTER TROLLS

Hi! My name is Tracy Chou and I'm the founder and CEO of Block Party. The quickest way to describe what we do is anti-harassment tools against online abuse, but more fundamentally we are building solutions for user control, protection, and safety.

There are many reasons to care about Block Party's mission to create a safer online experience, but for me, it's also very personal. I hardly have the words to convey what it's like to live the consequences of a broken, lawless Internet that enables any annoying or awful account, person or bot, individually or coordinated en-masse, to violate your digital presence.

Brave, Not Perfect

Do you ever feel crushed under the weight of your own expectations? Do you often lose sleep ruminating over a tiny mistake or worrying about what someone else thinks of you? Do you run yourself ragged trying to do it all at home and at work, with a smile and not a hair out of place? Have you ever passed up an opportunity – a new relationship, new job, or new challenge – because you’re afraid you won’t immediately excel at it? For you, is failure simply not an option? ···
