We're a 100% grassroots organization composed of high school/college students throughout the United States of America pushing for equitable, long-lasting reform within our school districts (public, charter, and private). The centerpiece of this movement is around the concept to #DiversifyOurNarrative through the books, curriculum, and teaching practices we engage in. Our students work with local school boards, school administration, and their educators to spearhead tailored resolutions/reform addressing the complex issues of more-inclusive curriculum, teaching pedagogy, racial equity, educational disparities, etc.

Django Girls is a non-profit organization and a community that empowers and helps women to organize free, one-day programming workshops by providing tools, resources and support. We are a volunteer run organization with hundreds of people contributing to bring more amazing women into the world of technology. We are making technology more approachable by creating resources designed with empathy.

During each of our events, 30-60 women build their first web application using HTML, CSS, Python and Django.

The Rising Women program is designed to meaningfully increase the number of qualified women leaders in data analysis, product management, business intelligence, marketing, people analytics, sales engineering, trading and other data-related technical fields.The training will focus on core data analytics skills required to perform well as leaders in these roles.
