Springboard
WE PREPARE YOU FOR THE CAREERS OF TOMORROW.
We believe that each of us is unique, so are our learning needs. The ideal learning experience should be designed to fit our life's pace, with support from advisors and mentors who understand us. We believe that education should prepare us for the real world, and that working on meaningful projects under the guidance of industry experts is one of the best ways to get there.
Our education model, centered around these principles, has launched thousands of students across more than 100 countries into professional success. Our students and mentors have also created lifelong bonds that have proved critical to workplace advancement. And the best part? We're just getting started.
Stand with Asian Americans
FIGHTING FOR ASIAN AMERICANS
“We, the Asian American business leaders of America, are tired, angry and afraid — and not for the first time.
We are tired of being treated as less than American, subject to harassment and now, every day, we read about another member of our community being physically attacked — simply for being Asian. We are afraid for the safety of our loved ones. We are angry that our families can no longer go outside in their own neighborhoods where they have lived for decades because it may not be safe.
Asian Americans have been silenced — in our streets, in our universities, in our corporations, in our media. As we fight daily news of violence, hate crimes against Asians, a systemic lack of representation and under-resourced community outreach programs, Asian Americans are told that they aren't a minority, that they don't matter, that the status quo of being marginalized and forgotten is more than enough. We're breaking the silence. We're building a coalition that asks for three important things: Stand up. Fight back. End Racism.
Stand with Asians
STOP ASIAN HATE
Building a stronger Asian American and Pacific Islander community through awareness campaigns, fundraising, and seed grants to promising leaders and upstart organizations.
Stand with Asians was formed in February 2021 during the wave of Asian hate crimes that swept across America. One of the co-founders of Stand with Asians learned that his friend was the victim of a brutal stabbing in Manhattan Chinatown.
Starting with a
, friends, allies, and strangers rallied to form the Stand with Asians movement. Less than a month later on March 26, they launched the March 26 Awareness campaign. The volunteer group worked so well together with so little central coordination that they began to think about how to make a long-term impact together for the AAPI community.
StarHacks
ALL-FEMALE AND NONBINARY VIRTUAL HACKATHON!
StarHacks is an all-female identifying and nonbinary high school hackathon. It is an overnight virtual coding event where attendees of all different coding backgrounds work to build a project addressing a real-world issue (this year's theme is mental health).
Our mission is to provide a safe and empowering space for gender minorities in technology to explore coding, regardless of experience. We strive to encourage them to pursue technology and computing, a largely male-dominated field, making us one step closer to closing the gender gap.
STEAM Champs
Here at S.T.E.A.M. Champs, we prioritize the learning journey of our students. We developed a unique S.T.E.A.M. curriculum that integrates computational thinking with a champion mindset, or in other words, a growth mindset - the belief that hard work and determination can provide you with endless opportunities.
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education emphasizes preparing future generations to succeed in their careers. The focus on hands-on learning with real-world applications helps develop a variety of skill sets, including essential literacy skills, sequencing, engineering design principles, and cause-and-effect relationships. When implemented appropriately, STEAM experiences in early childhood settings teach children more than science and mathematics concepts. Children exposed to STEAM education build essential 21st-century skills, including technological literacy, productivity, social skills, communication, flexibility, problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, curiosity, decision making, leadership, entrepreneurship, and more.
