The Percentage Project
The Percentage Project is an artistic, visual outlet for data collected from an anonymous survey of Computer Science students each year. We want to show that the challenges that minorities and underrepresented groups face are not just numbers on a page - these are real people with stories to tell. The goal of the Percentage Project is to showcase data along with advocates to put a face to a number; we aim to encourage reflection upon the situations of minorities affected by microaggression, discrimination, and for what could be done to alleviate these instances.

EMPOWERING WOMEN TO TAKE THEIR BUSINESSES TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
The Scotiabank Women Initiative is a signature program designed to increase economic and professional opportunities for all women and non-binary people to be successful, now and in the future.
In December 2018, The Scotiabank Women Initiative launched in Canada to support women-led and owned businesses. Our research revealed an opportunity to serve women businesses in a way that addresses the unique challenges they face. The Scotiabank Women Initiative has since deployed more than $3 Billion in capital to business owners in Canada while engaging 6000+ entrepreneurs across the country through boot camps and mentorship sessions.

The Steminist Club
The STEM subjects are traditionally lacking when it comes to gender balance and still today women are often significantly under-represented, particularly when it comes to senior roles and higher paid positions. My aim is to encourage younger generations to take up STEM subjects; for them to appreciate the diversity of roles available for individuals interested in STEM and for them to realise that getting those higher paid roles is well within their reach.
So come and join the club, get involved, share your stories and learn with us as we try and help you through the rocky road of adulthood, from graduating to retirement and everything in between!
